Niagara Falls

So we managed to make it through our first road trip as a family of five. When we got to Niagara we checked in to our first hotel and had a little rest from all the driving as there was soo much traffic on the way there. But after a couple of hours the kids were just too excited to be there and started bouncing off the walls...(and driving me insane!)so we headed out to do a little tour of Clifton Hill where we played some games at the arcade. We then headed back to the hotel with some BK in hand to watch the fireworks display from our room. Euge was able to escape for a few hours when the kids went to sleep and headed to the casino to try his luck at the roulette table. (He was a little lucky with our birthday numbers coming up but didn't bet too much) The following morning we stopped by the outlets to do a little shopping. I picked up a couple of items for myself and the kids but just couldn't reason with myself enough to get a new purse at the Coach outlet even though I waited 20 minutes in line to get in and the great sale they had going on. We finally headed over to check in at Great Wolf Lodge. It was our first time there and when I took the older 2 kids to check in, the little guy got a little spooked out to say the least with the wolves howling and the shrieking chipmunks at the front desk! We hit the waterpark for a couple of hours before dinner and then pretty much the whole day Sunday. We stayed mostly in the wavepool as that was where Benjoe liked to swim. We couldn't split up the kids as either Euge or myself had to stay with Eva, (We didn't want to take her into the pool just yet as she's still small and just over a month old) although Hannah and I were able to sneak away to try out one of the slides before hitting the showers to leave. Eva was quite cooperative when we were at the park mostly sleeping. I think the sound of the constant stream of water kept her asleep. We had a really great time and already we are thinking of when we could go back again!
